IND vs ENG, 5th Test: Pitch Report, Weather Report Of Dharamsala Stadium

The fifth and the last game between India and England of the five-match Test series is scheduled to be played from March 07, in Dharamsala’s Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium. Team India has already secured the series with a lead of 3-1. Meanwhile, the reports of the Dharamsala pitch are being said to be a slow turner.

Pitch Report:

The report stated that unexpected rainfall has hindered the ground staff’s efforts on the pitch, and the curators are set to consult with the Indian team management to determine the type of pitch that will eventually be prepared.

The Indian spinners have been pivotal in securing the series victory for the hosts, and it is anticipated that the pitch at Dharamsala will once again be a slow-turning surface, providing considerable support for Rohit Sharma and the rest of the team.

Weather Report:

Dharamshala is set to experience extremely cold conditions throughout all five days of the Test match. Rain might disrupt proceedings on Day 1, but the weather is anticipated to improve as the game unfolds. Days 3 and 4 are expected to have more sunlight, while Day 5 is predicted to be cloudy. Additionally, bad light may pose a challenge on most days, and floodlights are likely to be employed after Tea, potentially creating some difficulties for the players in the series’ final Test.

This game will also mark the 100th Test for both Ravichandran Ashwin and Australian wicket-keeper batter Jonny Bairstow.
