IND vs AUS ODI Series: 4 Australian Superstars Are Doubtful For The 3-Match Series, CA To Take Decision Soon

Australian regular captain Pat Cummins is already out from the series due to family issues on the other hand now David Warner is likely to miss the upcoming three-match ODI series against India.

The left-handed batter is suffering from an elbow injury and he is still recovering from it. The Australian Cricket management wants to take no chance as the ODI World Cup is slated to happen in India in the second half of this year and Warner is their prime batter whom they don’t want to lose from the squad.

Pat Cummins hasn’t made up his mind yet, but it’s extremely likely that he will miss the ODI series in order to be with his sick mother. The Australian team will now be captained by Steve Smith in the three-match ODI series if Cummins does not arrive in India.

It is noted that the Test match career of David Warner is not going well and he has been in poor form during this Test series against Australia. However, there was a chance in the ODI series that the Australian batter would have revamped his form but due to his elbow injury, he is doubtful for the ODI series.

Apart from David Warner and Pat Cummins, the two giants of the Australian Cricket Team Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell are also likely not to be available for all the matches. Maxwell fractured his leg last year and his recovery process is still slow on the other hand, Mitchell Marsh got an Ankle injury but even if he travels to India, won’t be participating in all three ODIs.
