IND vs AUS, 1st ODI: KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja Powerful Performance Help India To Clinch a 5-wicket win

India beat Australia by five wickets in the first ODI Played at Wankhede. This is a three-match series and India is now on lead 1-0. In this match, Indian captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Batting first, Australia was dismissed for a total of 188 runs by India. The Indian bowlers, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj played a crucial role by taking three wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja also contributed by taking two wickets. Mitchell Marsh was the top scorer for the Australian team, scoring 81 runs in just 65 deliveries.

While chasing the target of 189 runs, India lost Ishan Kishan(3) in the first over only. After this India lost some series of wickets and they were struggling on 39 runs at the loss of four wickets.

After this KL Rahul started building the innings with captain Hardik Pandya(25) and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja(45). KL Rahul scored the maximum for the team and got 75 runs with the help of seven fours and one six.

India got the target of 189 runs in 39.5 overs by scoring 191 runs. For two wickets in bowling and scoring 45 runs in batting, Ravindra Jadeja was adjudged player of the series.

The second ODI match between India and Australia will be played at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on 19th March.
