“If you have…”Rohit Sharma massive take on Virat kohli’s current form

Indian team’s Skipper Rohit Sharma supported Virat Kohli, believing that the struggling batsman will perform well when India needs him most. Virat Kohli scored only 9 runs in the T20 World Cup semifinal against England on June 27, but India still defeated England and secured a spot in the final. Rohit Sharma is confident that Virat Kohli will be a key player in the championship match against South Africa on June 29 in Barbados.

Virat Kohli seemed uncomfortable at the crease while attempting to regain his form on a pitch that didn’t allow for easy batting. He managed to hit a six off Reece Topley in the third over after England chose to bowl first following a rain delay. Unfortunately, Kohli was out shortly after trying a difficult, flat-handed shot in the same over. Although Kohli was out early, Rohit Sharma stepped up and scored a winning 57.

“Listen, he’s a really good player. We know how skilled he is and how important he is in big games. If you’ve played cricket for 15 years, you’re always in good shape. He’s doing well and might be saving his best for the final game. I totally support him for the final,” said Rohit Sharma.

Virat Kohli hasn’t seemed at ease since he started opening for India in T20 World Cups. He had a tough time on the pitches in New York during the Group stages, but he did manage to get off to a good start in the Super 8 stage. However, he was too aggressive on a tough pitch in Guyana during the semi-final against England and it cost him. He mostly missed the ball during his nine-ball time at bat.

Virat Kohli has only scored 75 runs in seven games during the current T20 World Cup, which is unusual for him in a big tournament.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma talked about his approach during a crucial 73-run partnership with Suryakumar Yadav in the semi-final. India was struggling at 40 for 2 after Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant were dismissed early. Rohit managed to balance careful play with attacking shots to help India recover.

India’s score of 171 on a slow pitch in Guyana was enough to beat England in the end.

India’s bowling was very effective, which helped them beat England and get even with Jos Buttler’s team. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav took six wickets together, and Jasprit Bumrah got two, causing England to be all out for just 103 runs.

India now has a chance to win a championship after 11 years when they play against South Africa in the final match in Barbados on Saturday.
