ICC Revealed Men’s Test Team Of The Year 2022; Only One Indian Player Got The Place

International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the Men’s Test Team of 2022. The players of this have performed exceptionally well in the longest format of cricket. With the growth of T20 cricket, their contribution to the red ball matter for the test cricket fraternity.

Australian opener batter Usman Khawaja scored 1080 runs at an average of 67.50 this year, and another opener batter West Indian Kraigg Brathwaite, registered 687 runs in 14 innings this year at an average of 62.45.

The most consistent batter of test cricket Marnus Labuschagne is picked in the playing XI. He scored 957 runs at an average of 56.29 this year.

Pakistani skipper Babar Azam has been the most consistent batter throughout the year. In the 9 test matches, Babar made 1184 runs at an average of 69.94.

Jhonny Bairstow, an English batter, has the best test career this year. He scored a tremendous amount of runs in test cricket this year. Because of a leg injury, he was ruled out of the Pakistan tour in winter.

Ben Stokes, English skipper and most consistent all-rounder in test cricket, is picked as the Captain of this team. Stokes scored 870 runs and bagged 26 wickets, including two hundred.

Rishabh Pant is the only Indian who got a place in the ICC Men’s test team. He registered 680 runs in 12 test innings at an average of 61.81. His wicket-keeping skills also play a key role in the winnings of the Indian team.

Australian pacer and skipper Pat Cummins grabbed 36 wickets in 10 test matches at an average of 21.83 this year. South African pacer Kagiso Rabada is the second premier pacer of this playing XI. He has taken 47 wickets in nine test matches this year. And the most experienced player of test cricket James Anderson scalped 36 wickets in nine test matches.

Nathan Lyon is the only spinner in this team. He has done his job very well in test cricket. He bagged 47 wickets in 11 test matches at an average of 29.06.
