The ICC ODI World Cup is just 2 months away and now ICC has announced the schedule for the warm-up matches in the upcoming event. The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 warm-up matches have been revealed for all 10 teams participating in the tournament.
These warm-up games are scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 3. It will be played at three Indian venues: Guwahati, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Similar to past ICC Cricket World Cup events, the warm-up matches will be played with 50 overs per side. However, these matches won’t hold One Day International status. Teams can use these matches to give practice to all 15 players from their squad.
The main event will start on October 5 at Narendra Modi Stadium between the finalists of the previous edition, New Zealand and England. The final will be played on November 19 at the same venue.
