ICC Announced The Name Of The Match Official For The Semi-Final Games Of T20 World Cup 2022

ICC has announced the name of the Match Officials for the Semifinals matches in the T20 World Cup 2022. The first semi-final clash will be played between New Zealand and Pakistan on 9th Nov at Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.

Both teams have won their last match of the Super 12, and now they will try their best to win the semi-final encounter to make a place in the finals. Green Army won the 2009 T20 World Cup whereas kiwi hasn’t won any T20 World Cup.


Match Official for 1st semi-final game:- 9 November – New Zealand v Pakistan, Sydney Cricket Ground – Marais Erasmus and Richard Illingworth (on-field), Richard Kettleborough (third umpire), Michael Gough (fourth umpire) and Chris Broad (match referee).

The second semi-final encounter will be played between India and England on 10th Nov at Adelaide Oval. The players of both teams have been performing clinically on the field, and it will be interesting to see how the clash will look alike when two mighty XI clash with each other. However, the English team is likely to miss their star batter, Dawid Malan, from the next game due to a groin injury.

Match Official of the second semi-final game:- 10 November – India v England, Adelaide Oval – Kumar Dharmasena and Paul Reiffel (on-field), Chris Gaffaney (third umpire), Rod Tucker (fourth umpire) and David Boon (match referee)

However, the match official for the final match of the T20 World Cup 2022 game will be announced after the outcome of the semi-final matches. The final game will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground on 13th November.
