How has Nehal Wadhera impressed Captain Hardik Pandya ?

Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandaya was all praise for the young batter, Nehal Wadhera, for his brilliant batting display. The Mumbai Indians top order completely collapsed inside the powerplay, with Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma, and Hardik Panda all getting dismissed inside the powerplay itself.

It was the duo of Ishan Kishan and Nehal Wadhera that provided much-needed stability with a 53-run partnership. Hardik Panda feels that the way Nehal has been performing in the past can easily get an Indian call-up.

Hardik Pandya said, “He has been fantastic—the way he batted against the royals and today against Lucknow. He did a fantastic job last year as well. It was because of the team combination that he could not get a chance early. Looking at his talent, he will play for a lot of years for Mumbai and for India eventually.”

Nehal Wadhera was one of the Mumbai Indians. The star batter had phenomenal success in the previous edition of the IPL, scoring 241 runs in 14 games. However, it came as a surprise when he was benched for the first seven games this season.

The Mumbai Indians will be next seen in action against Kolkata on May 3.
