‘He Will Be Selected In Team India For T20Is Right After The IPL 2023’, Ravi Shastri Strong Prediction For This Young Gun

Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has expressed his confidence that Yashasvi Jaiswal will be selected for the national team immediately after the IPL 2023 season regardless of the presence or absence of other players.

Shashtri made this statement after Jaiswal’s heroic performance against KKR in the 55th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 played at Eden Gardens. He smashed 98 runs in just 47 balls where he got 13 fours and five sixes.

Shastri’s statement was made following Jaiswal’s outstanding performance in Rajasthan Royals’ victory against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 11, where he scored an unbeaten 98 runs off just 47 balls.

Talking to Star Sports, Ravi Shastri said,”Jaiswal continues to wow everybody who watches him. In some of his shots through the off-side, the head is absolutely still and the footwork is impeccable. For someone who is 21 years old, he has come up the hard way.”

He further added,”Immediately (How soon will he get an India call-up?). The selectors would love seeing what they are seeing. They would love to see such a talent after a long wait, someone who is so good across all formats.”

“And especially, in white-ball cricket, in T20 cricket, he walks into the side irrespective of who’s there. His will be the first name picked,” Shastri added.

The RCB star batter Virat Kohli was also impressed by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s brilliant knock and he put on an Instagram story to give his warm words for Jaiswal. With the help of Jaiswal’s brilliant knock Rajasthan Royals successfully chased the target of 150 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in just 13.1 overs. Jaiswal played a significant role in this victory, scoring an unbeaten 98 runs off just 47 balls. From the other side, Sanju Samson also played aggressively and scored 48 runs in just 29 balls.
