‘He Has Not Done Any Crime,’ Harbhajan Singh Slams Critics Of KL Rahul

When at one side, nearly everyone is criticising KL Rahul for his disastrous form, the former Indian spin veteran Harbhajan has come in support of this batter. As we know KL Rahul has not only been removed from the role of vice-captain but he will also be dropped from the last two matches of Border-Gavaskar trophy.

The Indian team has won both the matches which were held in Nagpur and Delhi respectively. In the first match India wiped out the Aussies by an innings and 132 runs and in the second match a 6 wicket victory by team India made them take a lead of 2-0. However, KL Rahul only managed to get 38 runs in the three innings he played. Rahul’s struggle with bat made him a topic of discussion among fans and former Cricketers.

On Tuesday (21 February), Harbhajan Singh made a favourable tweet for KL Rahul and asked fans and cricket experts not to use harsh words for KL Rahul. The former veteran said that the batter is going through a rough patch and ever player faces this phase in his career.

“Can we leave KL Rahul alone guys? He hasn’t done any crime. He is still a top player. He will come back strong. we all go thru such patches in international cricket. he is not the first one and last one. so please respect the fact that he is our own 🇮🇳 player and have faith,” Harbhajan wrote.

If KL Rahul doesn’t play the third match of the series, Shubhman Gill who is in red hot form will replace the batter. The third Test between India and Australia will be played in Indore from March 1.
