A war of words is going on between former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad and cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra regarding the place of KL Rahul in the current Indian team.
At one side Venkatesh Prasad is heavily criticising Indian Cricket Management for giving him continuous chances even after his failure, on another Aakash Chopra is supporting KL Rahul and expecting his remarkable comeback by posing the state of him on Twitter.
Meanwhile, when Aakash Chopra finally decided to end this war over KL Rahul by inviting him on a Live discussion on YouTube, Venkatesh Prasad said a clear no.
Aakash Chopra first tweeted,“Venky bhai, msgs are getting lost in translation. You are here. Me on YT. I invite you to come on a Video Chat…we can do it Live. Difference on opinions is nice…let’s do it properly. I’ll not have any sponsors on it & nobody will make money out of it. Up for it? You have my number.”
Replying to this tweet of the former Indian opener, Venkatesh Prasad tweeted,”No Aakash, nothing is lost in translation. In your 12-minute video you have called me as an agenda peddler because it didn’t suit your narrative. It is crystal clear. And I have made my points very clear in this Twitter thread. Don’t wish to engage with you further on this.”
It all started when Venkatesh Prasad made a series of Tweets regarding KL Rahul. The Indian batter has only scored 38 runs in the last three innings and has been removed from the role of vice-captain.
The third match of the Border-Gavaskar series will be played in Indore from March 1.
