Hardik Pandya Ruled Out From The T20I Series Against South Africa, This RCB All-rounder Roped In As Replacement

Before the 3-match T20I series against South Africa, India is going through a lot of changes. Earlier it was reported that team India’s Pacer Shami and all-rounder Deepak Hooda have been ruled out due to their respective issues.

Now according to the latest development, the star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is also set to miss the 3-match T20I series against South Africa.

Not only this, Indian Cricket Management has already announced the replacement for Hardik Pandya. BCCI has roped in Shahbaz Ahmed in place of Hardik. Shahbaz is enjoying a good time with RCB for 2 years and he has been consistent with both the bat and ball which has opened the door for him for Team India.

Apart from Shahbaz, Shreyas Iyer has also joined the squad for the T20I series against South Africa. Let us tell you that, Iyer is also there in the T20 World Cup Squad but among the reserve players along with M Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, and Deepak Chahar.

India has recently finished the 3-match T20I series against Australia in which Hardik Pandya played a vital role. After coming out from the back injury he has been outstanding with both the bat and the ball. Hardik Pandya’s unavailability will pinch Team India to its core and at the same time, it would be a test for the spin all-rounder, Shahbaz Ahmed.
