Get Ready For Another Exciting India-Pakistan Encounter In England

The popular T20 league, Road Safety World Series, which brings together former international cricket stars, will see the participation of a team from Pakistan for the first time in its upcoming third season.

The league, previously held in India, is set to take place in England this year after receiving approval from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). With the inclusion of a Pakistani team, the tournament is set to become even more exciting and competitive.

The Road Safety World Series commenced in March 2020 with teams from India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, and Australia. However, the inaugural season was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which affected the world then. The competition resumed in March 2021, with Bangladesh replacing Australia due to travel restrictions. England also joined as a new addition to the tournament.

The second season, held in September 2022, saw further expansion with the inclusion of New Zealand along with Australia’s return. The India Legends team emerged victorious in both editions, defeating Sri Lanka Legends in the final held in Raipur.

Until now, strained relations between the governments of India and Pakistan prevented a team from Pakistan from participating in the Road Safety World Series. However, with the third season scheduled in England, the tournament has finally received the green light to include a team from Pakistan. This move is expected to add a new layer of excitement and rivalry to the competition.

Adding a Pakistan team will likely bring more iconic players to the fray, making the league even more star-studded.
