The world’s biggest Twenty20 league is all set to start in a month;
however, ahead of the start of the tournament, IPL franchise Delhi Capitals received a major boost as their skipper Rishabh Pant is all set to make a comeback to cricket in the upcoming season of the IPL.
Reacting to the same former team’s opener, Aakash Chopra said that Rishabh Pant’s recovery in the IPL is miraculous.
In his YouTube channel, Aaksh Chopra said, “There are reports that Rishabh Pant will be seen playing this year in the IPL, which is absolutely phenomenal. It is miraculous, considering where he came from and where he is now.”.
Aakash Chopra further stated that “cricket is a very small part of life. It’s very important, but cricket is there if life is there. The sort of accident it was, I was just happy that he was alive. I am pretty sure he would have had to work very hard during the journey from there to here because it’s difficult and extremely lonely as well.”.
On the other hand, the board of Cricket Control in India, BCCI, provided a fitness update, saying that Rishabh Pant is currently in the rehabilitation process and is currently recovering in the NCA. Various social media videos have surged across the internet showing Rishabh Pant keeping practice.
Rishabh Pant has so far played 98 matches for the Delhi Capitals, scoring 2838 runs at a strike rate of 147.
