‘Even If Today I Will Call Him, He Won’t Pick My Call’, Former Indian Bowler Reveals Unheard Story Of MS Dhoni

Former Indian fast bowler Sreesanth has recently revealed some untold stories about the former Indian captain MS Dhoni. Before his retirement from international cricket, Sreesanth and Dhoni had shared the field in numerous matches. Both MS Dhoni and S Sreesanth were the part of the Indian team when they lifted the 2007 T20I World Cup in South Africa and then the 2011 ODI World Cup.

However, it is unknown to fans that MS Dhoni and S Sreesanth first met each other during a domestic match between South Zone and East Zone which was played in Dharamshala.

While talking to Sportskeeda, S Sreesanth remembered the days when he met the former Indian captain at a dinner organised by Anurag Thakur.

“Yes, I met him for the first time during the South Zone vs East Zone match in Dharamsala. It was the first first-class match in Dharamsala. He was not in the playing XI. Deep Dasgupta was the captain. He was playing as a wicketkeeper-batter.”

He further added,”Anurag Thakurji organized a dinner for the two teams. At that time, I spoke with MS Dhoni for the first time. We did not interact much during the four-day match because we were on different teams.”

Sreesanth mentioned that during their first meeting, Dhoni was not using his phone. According to the former Indian fast bowler, Dhoni still uses his phone very less and he rarely picks someone’s call.
