ECB To Tour Bangladesh After Seven Years; Check Out The Full Schedule

England team to tour Bangladesh for the 3 T20I and 3 ODIs match series against the host. This is the first T20I bilateral series featuring both nations. Before this, in 2006, England went to Bangladesh for 3 ODIs match series, which was won by the English team 2-1.

The first and second matches of the ODI series will be played on the 1st and 3rd of March 2023 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, respectively. However, the last ODIs match of the series will be on 6th March at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Meanwhile, looking at the T20I series, the opening encounter of the series will be played on 9th March at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Dhaka, and moving forward, the second and third T20I matches will be played on the 12th and 14th of March, respectively at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. England team will also play two warmup matches just ahead of the ODIs series.

Speaking on the series, ECB chief Clare Connor stated that we are excited about the series. They have a great passion for cricket, and we expect a tough challenge against Bangladesh.

“It is exciting that the England cricket team will return there for the first time since 2016. The atmosphere generated in Dhaka and Chattogram for this eagerly-anticipated tour will be fantastic. There is a great passion for cricket across Bangladesh, and we expect a tough challenge against a side who have an excellent record in home conditions,” Clare said.

1st ODI: Bangladesh v England, 1 March, SBNCS, Dhaka

2nd ODI: Bangladesh v England, 3 March, SBNCS, Dhaka

3rd ODI: Bangladesh v England, 6 March, ZACS, Chattogram

1st T20I: Bangladesh v England, 9 March, ZACS, Chattogram

2nd T20I: Bangladesh v England, 12 March, SBNCS, Dhaka

3rd T20I: Bangladesh v England, 14 March, SBNCS, Dhaka
