“Don’t Forget This Loss In IPL…..” Sunil Gavaskar Slammed Indian Captain After The Humiliating Loss

Indian team has once again faced a humiliating defeat in the ODI series against Australia at their own home after 4 years. Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has also lost his temper after this series of defeat of India against Kangaroos in their own backyard. Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar is furious after the Indian team’s ODI series defeat against Australia.

Australia beat India by 21 runs in the third ODI with the brilliant bowling of Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar and won the three-match series 2-1.

The Indian batting again came under pressure in the chase and was bundled out for 248 in 49.1 overs, chasing the target on a slow Chepauk pitch. Even the half-century of Virat Kohli (54 runs) could not save India from this loss. Australia came back after losing the first ODI by five wickets and won two consecutive ODIs.

Zampa did his best bowling performance against India. Hardik Pandya’s brilliant opening spell and Kuldeep Yadav’s spin restricted the Australian batters, but their tail-enders helped them post a challenging total of 269 before being bundled out in 49 overs.

Sunil Gavaskar said in a conversation with Star Sports, ‘In the third ODI, the Australian team had put tremendous pressure on India, so the Indian batsmen could not get singles. In such a situation, you play shots you are not used to. India should pay attention to this shortcoming. Indian team makes this type of mistake many times and then forgets its shortcoming, but this should not happen because this is the year of the World Cup, and we may have to face Australia again.”

Sunil Gavaskar further added, ‘In this match, apart from KL Rahul and Virat Kohli, no Indian batsman has been able to make a big partnership. When you are chasing 270 runs, you need a partnership of 90-100 runs, but it did not happen. In this match, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill played a partnership of 65 runs, after which only Virat Kohli and KL Rahul added 69 runs.”
