Decoding Rohit Sharma’s Absence On Day 3 Of Dharamshala Test

Team India’s skipper, Rohit Sharma, did not come to the field after Team India’s first innings of the fifth test got over. Team India was bowled out for 479 runs on day three.

The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) revealed the reason behind Skipper’s absence.

“UPDATE: Captain Rohit Sharma has not taken the field on Day 3 due to a stiff back,” BCCI wrote in a statement on social media. Notably, in Rohit’s absence, the team’s vice captain, Jasprit Bumrah, is leading the Indian team on the field. 

Rohit Sharma had a phenomenal outing with the bat in the fifth test match as he scored the second century of the series (103). Rohit Sharma, along with Shubman Gill (110) added 171 for the second wicket.
