Coach Chandrakant Pandit’s Update on Mitchell Starc’s Fitness for KKR vs DC

KKR’s head coach, Chandrakant Pandit has given a massive update on Mitchell Starc, saying that the pacer is doing fine now. Starc was not part of KKR’s playing 11 in their previous encounter due to injury.

Starc’s experience was surely missed by KKR in their previous encounter; however, head coach Chandrakant Pandit
said that Starc is looking better and a call would be taken on his availability after looking at his fitness in the nets.

Pandit said, “He is doing fine now. He has shown good progress in recovery. We will watch him on the nets, and then we will make a call.”

KKR has not been able to defend 200+ total on two occasions. However, Pandit went on to say that he didn’t want to criticize the team’s bowling in the middle of the tournament.
“In the middle of the tournament, I don’t want to be critical of bowling. We can see what is in our hands.”

Pandit also feels that he also wants to look at the positive side. Chandrakant Panda feels that there is confidence among the group.

KKR have 10 points from 8 matches and are placed at number 2 in the points table.
