Kolkata Knight Riders, this eastern derby, has won the IPL trophy two times in the history of the IPL under the captaincy of Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir. In this auction, KKR team management didn’t pick any expensive players as they had already bought two expensive buys through trade in the form of Ferguson and Shardul Thakur.
They have picked Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan at 1.50 Cr and another Bangladeshi veteran batter Litton Das at 50 Lakhs. They have also acquired Namibian all-rounder David Wiese at 1 Cr.
