Indian domestic legend Jalaj Saxena has continued his golden run in the Ranji Trophy season.
He picked up nine wickets against Bangalore in a Ranji Trophy game.
Jalaj Saxena also opened the innings for Kerala, making a notable 40 runs with the bat, helping Kerala reach 363 runs against Bangal in the first innings.
However, as soon as Jalaj Saxena got the ball in his hand, he bowled one of the most magical spells in the history of the Ranji Trophy.
Jalaj Saxena recorded the fourth-best bowling figure in the history of the tournament as he picked up nine wickets against Bangal, giving up just 68 runs in the first inning.
It was because of Jalaj’s exceptional bowling display that he helped Kerala bundle Bangal for just 180 on the board. Jalaj also went on to score 37 runs in the second inning of the match.
Well, this is not the first time Jalaj has grabbed headlines for his performance at the domestic level. The right arm off spinner has picked up a total of 429 wickets at the first class level.
Moreover, Jalaj is only behind Shahbaz Nadeem with 335 wickets to his name, while Nadeem has picked up 348 wickets in 79 matches.

Jalaj has not only been phenomenal with the ball but has also been one of the most consistent batters at the domestic level, scoring 6613 runs with the bat at an average of 33.91, which included 14 hundreds and 32 fifties.
However, whether Jalaj gets a chance on the international stage still remains a question in the hearts of cricket fans.
