Breaking News: This Star Wicketkeeper-Batsman Is All Set To Turn The Tables In The IPL For Delhi Capitals

The 17th season of the IPL is all set to start in less than two weeks. The tournament is set to start on March 22. Ahead of the IPL season, the IPL franchise in Delhi has received a major boost.

Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant is all set to make a comeback in the upcoming cricket carnival. The star batter has received fitness clearance from NCA and is all set to feature in the cash-rich league.

As per the sources, Rishabh Pant, who has not been playing any competitive cricket since December 2022, received the fitness certificate in the previous week and is all set to join the Delhi Capitals for the upcoming season.

Pant is currently busy with the shoots for the promotions and will be flying to Delhi for a few days before joining Delhi’s camp in Vizag for the upcoming season.

As per the latest buzz, there has been uncertainty over Pant’s role in the team, but keeping his international career in mind, it is evident that Pant will not keep the wickets for the Delhi Capitals in the upcoming season.

In his recent interaction, Ganguly said,He has done everything to get fit, and that’s the reason NCA will clear him. Let Rishabh get cleared on March 5, and then we’ll talk about captaincy backups. We are taking a cautious approach with him because he has a very long career ahead of him. We don’t want to push him into excitement. We will see how Rishabh reacts. He will be joining the camp once the NCA gives him clearance. We will see match by match. We can’t predict.”
