When Will Rohit Sharma Retire From Test Cricket? Indian Skipper Talks About His Retirement Plan

India dominated the hosts England and won the last game of the series by an innings and 64 runs at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. India were 0-1 behind after the first game and then Rohit Sharma and company came stronger to clinch the series with their remarkable performance.

After the defeat in the initial Test, Captain Rohit led a reorganized Indian side, facing the absence of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, and motivated them to achieve a notable 106-run victory in the second Test in Visakhapatnam. However, Rohit’s individual performance in the first two games fell short where he got scores of 24, 39, 14, and 13.

While talking to the media after the win, Rohit Sharma also talked about his retirement from cricket.

“One day, when I wake up and feel, I am not good enough then I will retire straight away but in the last few years I am playing the best cricket of my life,” Rohit said after the game

Rohit Sharma also praised Rahul Dravid and said, “Rohit Sharma has been exceptional in this series. In Rajkot, when we were 3 down inside the first hour, we needed someone to get us that hundred. In Ranchi also, he batted amazingly.”
