Royal Challengers Bangalore named the replacement of the star batter Rajat Patidar. They have signed Vyshak Vijay Kumar as the replacement player for the IPL 2023. Rajat Patidar has a heel injury, and NCA hasn’t approved him to play in this IPL season.
Vijay Kumar has played 14 T20I matches in which he scored 19 runs and took 22 wickets. He has a strike rate of 105.55 and a bowling economy is 6.92. It will be interesting to see how he will perform at this biggest tournament level. It will be a great opportunity to show his talent in the biggest T20I league. He joined RCB for INR 20 Lakhs.
“Unfortunately, Rajat Patidar has been ruled out of #IPL2023 due to an Achilles Heel injury. We wish Rajat a speedy recovery and will continue to support him during the process. The coaches and management have decided not to name a replacement player for Rajat just yet.” RCB wrote on their official Twitter handle.
Earlier, Reece Topley and Will Jacks of RCB was also ruled out, and Wayne Parnell and Michael Barewell were named as their replacement, respectively, in this IPL season. Josh Hazlewood will join the team on 14th April. That is, he will be available for the team in the team’s fourth match against Delhi on 15th April. There is a big problem for the team, before that they have to play two matches.
