Breaking News: Injury Concern For The Indian Team Ahead Of The 2nd Test Against Bangladesh

Indian team has a major setback before the second Test match against Bangladesh. Skipper KL Rahul got injured during net practice a day before the match and may be ruled out of the Dhaka Test.

If KL sits on the bench, then veteran batter Cheteshwar Pujara will be seen in the captaincy role, and India-A opener skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran may get a chance to open with Shubman Gill.

Team India’s batting coach Vikram Rathore hasn’t provided any update on KL Rahul and said that Rahul’s injury is not too serious and he can play the second Test. But for any official announcement, everyone must wait till the morning of the test match, and the medical team will examine the injury, and then the decision will be taken.

Earlier, Rahul was playing throw-down in the net practice, and coincidentally, this throw-down was being done by batting coach Vikram Rathod himself. After this, the team doctor came to examine the injury of KL Rahul, after which he was advised to rest.

Earlier, the team’s regular captain Rohit Sharma was ruled out of the Test matches due to a thumb injury during the ODI series. In his absence of him, KL Rahul captained the first Test. However, the Indian team has won the first match of two Test match series against Bangladesh and looking forward to the World test Championship finals
