Srilankan Vetran opener Chamari Athapaththu registered herself in history books with a phenomenal 195* in a run chase.

helped the Sri Lankan team chase their highest ever Odi score as they chased 302 against South Africa in 44.3 overs.
Chamari Athapaththu smashed 29 fours and five sixes in her innings, scoring 195 of just 135 deliveries. She overtook South Africa’s Skipper Laura Wolvaardt with 184 of just 147 deliveries in the women’s Odi run chase.
Chamari Athapaththu’s 195 is the second highest individual score in the ODI run chase. She is only behind Glenn Maxwell’s 201 against Afghanistan. She registered the highest Odi score in women’s cricket in a run chase.

Sri Lanka have already won the T20 series by 2-1, and with this victory, they have also leveled the Odi series.
