IPL 2024 is yet so far but the preparation on paper has been started by all the franchises. Earlier Devdutt Padikkal was sold to Lucknow SuperGiants and now the biggest news is coming regarding the star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
After the expansion of IPL teams, from eight to ten, Hardik Pandya was given the captaincy of the newly formed Gujarat Titans. The team reached into the final for two back to back times, in which they have won the cup in the inaugural season.
However, now according to a reliable report, the all-rounder will no longer be associated with Gujarat in the upcoming season. The report claims that Hardik will be joining his old team Mumbai Indians in all cash deal.
According to a report in ESPNCricinfo, Hardik Pandya will be joining Mumbai Indians after paying INR 15 crores. This is the salary of Pandya and apart from it, he will also be getting a huge transfer fee to Titans which is still unknown. If it happens, it will be the highest trade for any player in the history of the tournament.
Talking about the performance in two seasons, Hardik Pandya has scored 833 runs in 30 innings. During this he possesses a strike rate of 133.49 and an average of 41.65. Not only this, he also grabbed 11 wickets with an economy of 8.1.
The player is currently injured and he will was ruled out from the ODI World Cup campaign due to his ankle injury.
Hardik Pandya started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians in 2015 and then carried his stint with the team till IPL 2021.
