Big Blow To Lucknow, Skipper Ruled Out Of The IPL 2023, Doubt On Playing In WTC Final

Lucknow Supergiants have suffered two major setbacks in the middle of the 16th season of IPL. Due to injury, Captain KL Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat find it difficult to participate in further matches. Both the star players are almost out of IPL 2023.

According to the sources, “When someone gets such an injury, there is a lot of pain and swelling in and around that place. It takes about 24 to 48 hours for the swelling to settle down, and only then can you have the scan. Since Rahul is an important Test team member, he must rest.”

The LSG skipper will leave for Mumbai on Thursday for a scan under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. In Rahul’s absence, the command of the LSG has been handed over to Krunal Pandya. At the same time, the injury of KL Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat is also considered a big blow for the Indian cricket team.

It is being told that he has a hamstring injury, and now he is almost out of the tournament. This is a big blow for Lucknow. However, fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat has also been ruled out of IPL due to injury. Unadkat has suffered a shoulder injury, and according to media reports, his condition is critical. Unadkat got hurt in the practice session.

Rahul and Unadkat were also part of the Indian squad going for the WTC final starting from 7th June 2023, and their participation in the WTC final also came under the scanner.
