Big Blow For Mumbai Indians, Destructive Bowler To Miss The First Game Against Gujarat Titans

Mumbai Indians team has got a significant setback before the start of the season. The budding South African cricketer Gerald Coetzee bought by Mumbai Indians for INR 5 crore.

According to a reliable source, the star bowler has been ruled out of the first match due to an injury. The bowler is currently under the scrutiny of the Mumbai Indians medical team and the final decision regarding his participation in the further games will be given after his fitness clearance.

The source also confirmed that in place of Coetzee, Dilshan Madhushanka or Akash Madhwal will be filling the space in the playing XI.

Mumbai Indians have already been in limelight due to their captaincy aspect. Rohit Sharma who led Mumbai Indians for five titles, has been removed from the captaincy and in place of him Hardik Pandya has been appointed as the new skipper of the franchise.

The Indians will start their campaign on March 24 against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium.
