Big Blow For England, Destructive Wicket Keeper Batter Ruled Out Of T20 World Cup 2022

Bad news is coming out from the corridors of England Cricket. England’s destructive middle order batter Jonny Bairstow has been ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 and England’s third test against South Africa.

According to the England and Wales cricket board Bairstow has suffered a lower-limb injury and now he is under the medical team of England.

According to a report in ESPNcricinfo, he suffered that injury when he slipped while walking to a tee box when he was playing golf in leeds. It is stated that injury might be serious and it could be a serious fracture.

The latest report says that Nottingham batter Ben Duckett has been added to the squad for the 3rd Test at the Oval which will commence on Thursday.

Today only, England Cricket Board has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 and the tour of Pakistan. Jos Buttler will hold the captaincy duties for England. England’s star batter Jason Roy has been omitted from the squad.
