Big Blow For Delhi Capitals, Destructive Batter Likely To Miss The IPL 2024

Before the start of the season, the Delhi Capitals’ IPL 2024 campaign has suffered a setback with reports indicating that England batsman Harry Brook is unlikely to take part in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Harry Brook was signed by the Delhi Capitals for ₹4 crore during the December auction but was unavailable for the recent Test series in India due to personal reasons. As a result, there are uncertainties regarding his availability for the upcoming IPL season.

According to sources from Code Sports, amid Harry Brook’s uncertain situation, the Delhi Capitals are reportedly considering Fraser-McGurk as a potential replacement.

The 21-year-old Australian all-rounder, who has experience playing for the Delhi Capitals’ affiliated team, Dubai Capitals, in the ILT20, has garnered considerable attention from the franchise.

This development after Harry Brook’s disappointing performance in IPL 2023 with the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Despite his significant price tag of ₹13.25 crore, he could only amass 190 runs in 11 matches.
