The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the schedule for the Indian domestic season 2023-24 on 11th April. This schedule issued by BCCI starts with Duleep Trophy, which will start on 28th June 2023. The honorary sectary of BCCI, Jay Shah, released the media advisory on 11th April 2023. This season we will see 1846 matches played between the last week of June 2023 and March 2024.
The BCCI has also decided to start the Deodhar Trophy after 3 years of the Corona period. The Deodhar Trophy will start on 24th June and will include 6 zonal teams (Central, South, North, East, West and North East zones).
In such a situation, this article lets us know about the entire schedule from Duleep Trophy to Vijay Merchant Trophy.
- Duleep Trophy – The knockout matches of the Duleep Trophy tournament will start on 28th June 2023, and its final match will be played on 16th June 2023.
- Deodhar Trophy- This tournament will start on 24th July, whose league matches will be played from 24th July 2023 to 1st August, while the knockout matches will be played on 3rd August.
- Irani Cup – Knockout matches will start from 1st October 2023 to 5th October 2023.
- Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy – 16th October to 27th October 2023, knockout matches (31st October 2023-6th November 2023).
- Vijay Hazare Trophy – 23rd November 2023 – 5th December 2023, Knockout matches – 9th December 2023 – 15th December 2023.
- Ranji Trophy Elite – 5th January 2024 – 19th February 2024, Knockout Match – 23rd February 2024 – 14th March 2024
The senior women’s season will start with the National T20 Championship, played from 19th October to 9th November 2023. After this, the Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy will be played from 24th November to 4th December 2023. The Senior Women’s ODI Trophy will be held next year from 4th January 2024 to 26th January 2024. At the same time, five groups will be in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy and ODI Trophy. Finally, Vizzy Trophy will be from 10th March 2024 to 16th March 2024.
