Asia Cup 2023: Team India Make Five Changes For The Bangladesh Game, Tilak Varma Makes His Debut

On Friday, September 15, India is taking on Bangladesh in the super-4 stage of Asia Cup 2023. Though India has already qualified for the finals, the team has come with some changes. The young left-handed batter Tilak Varma who has impressed everyone with his batting has now finally got a chance to make his ODI Debut.

The upcoming game holds no significance in the context of the tournament, as the India-Sri Lanka final on Sunday is already set, and Bangladesh’s sole aim is to secure a victory and move up from the bottom of the points table.

From India Tilak Varma is making his ODI Debut and took the place of Hardik Pandya in the team. There is a new player from Bangladesh as well. Tanzim Hasan Sakib comes into the playing XI in place of Mushfiqur Rahim.

Including Tilak Varma, India is coming with five changes for this game. Senior batter Virat Kohli, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah have been asked for the rest. In place of them, Mohammed Shami, Prasidh Krishna, Shardul Thakur, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma have got their place.
