Another injury scare for the Indian team in the nets, star batter Virat Kohli was injured in the practice session on the ball of Harshal Patel. The Indian team was practicing hard for the semi-final encounter against England on 10th November at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
In the nets, a ball of Harshal Patel hit Run Machine Kohli and he knelt down on the pitch because of pain. Harshal went to him to check the injury but Kohli sent him back to bowling and resumed his training.
Virat Kohli is spectacular in this tournament, he has scored 246 runs in 5 innings with a magnificent batting average of 123.00. His innings are lanced with three fifties and also with a glorious strike rate of 139.
His knock of 82* runs in the first encounter against arch-rival Pakistan was an outstanding and most memorable knock of all time. He has been praised from all over the world and that also increased the importance of Kohli in the Indian squad.
Earlier, Virat Kohli was also awarded the ICC player of the Month in October. He has scored 205 runs in October month in this T20 World Cup 2022.
Virat Kohli has given a reaction to the award, he thanked all his fans across the globe and also appreciated the other players too.
