Amazing Performance Of Shweta And Parshvi Helped Indian Team To Enter In The Finals Of U-19 T20 World Cup

The Indian women’s Under-19 team has become the first team to make the place in the final of the T20 World Cup by defeating New Zealand in the first semi-final match by 8 wickets. On 27th January, against New Zealand, the Indian team won by the blistering knock of Shweta Sehrawat and the deadly bowling performance of Parshvi Chopra.

The Indian team performed brilliantly in the Under-19 T20 World Cup semi-final match against New Zealand on 27th January. Batting first, the Kiwi team scored 107 runs for 9 wickets. Charizya Plimmer’s 35 and Isabelle Gage’s knock of 26 runs tried to handle the team, but they could not reach a big score. Parshvi Chopra took 3 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs, and Titas, Mannat, Shafali, and Archana took 1-1 wickets each.

Indian opener Shweta Sehrawat played another blistering knock, and helped her team in entering in the finals. After the dismissal of Captain Shefali Verma in the semi-final match against New Zealand, she led the team to victory unbeaten. She played a little slow, but reliable innings of 61 runs with the help of 10 fours in 45 balls. India achieved the target of victory in 14.2 overs and confirmed the ticket for the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup finals. India will face the winning team of the second semi-final between England and Australia.

Indian team won all their matches and made it to the Super Six. India is in Group D with the host South Africa, UAE, Bangladesh, Australia, and Sri Lanka. They got defeated in the first match against Australia. After this, India stepped into the semi-finals by defeating Sri Lanka in a one-sided match. By winning a big 8-wicket victory against New Zealand on 27th January, and confirmed the ticket for finals.
