According To The Cricket Association Of Nepal (CAN), Head Coach Prabhakar Announced His Resignation On Thursday

The CAN said that Prabhakar, a former Indian cricketer who was named Nepal’s coach four months ago, has resigned with effect as of today. The head coach Prabhakar, who had a one-year deal with CAN, resigned on Thursday, according to the CAN.

The fundamental reason for the collapse of the Nepal national cricket team has been linked to the coach’s unnecessary interference with the squad’s batting order.

Manoj Prabhakar was handed a one-year contract and put on the spot on August 8. After being hired, the coach had promised to change Nepali cricket.

The future appeared bright. But in December, the disputes he had vowed to prevent showed up. Nepal travelled to Windhoek for the Namibia-Nepal-Scotland Tri Series of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 with a lot on the line.

They suffered three straight losses in the Namibia Triangular Series, which were followed by a no result against the hosts, which ended their chances of instantly qualifying for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Zimbabwe next year.

According to many media sources, the 59-year-old Indian left home on Monday “after forging a mutual agreement to part company with the Nepal national squad following a meeting with the Cricket Association of Nepal.”
