In preparation for the prestigious tournament, former Australian captain Aaron Finch has added to the excitement by sharing his probable playing XI for the event.

However, his decisions have generated discussions and disagreements as he has left out the veteran Australian batter Steve Smith.

Finch has opted for David Warner and Travis Head as his opening duo, emphasizing their roles as dynamic batsmen and their capability to set the tone for the team.

Finch has then picked the all-rounder Mitchell Marsh as the number three batter. He has placed another dangerous all-rounder Glenn Maxwell at number four in his playing XI.
