After the T20 World Cup 2022, now cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the Indian Premier League 2023. Every franchises have submitted the list of the retained and released players to the core committee of IPL. Now, released players can put their names in the mini-auction 2023 which will be held on 23rd December 2022 in Kochi.
Indian Premier Franchise Sunrise Hyderabad has released their skipper Kane Williamson and also star batter Nicholas Pooran. Currently, SRH have plenty number of bowlers in the retained team like; Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Karthik Tyagi, Marco Jansen, Umran Malik, T Natarajan, etc. so in the mini-auction 2023 they will bid for available batter like; Ben Stokes, Mayank Agarwal, Manish Pandey etc to fill up the vacant squad.
But in the upcoming season, they will be also in search of a good player who can lead their team. In the captaincy race, the name of the Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is at the top and South African batter Aiden Markram is also in the race. However, SRH can buy some impactful players of T20 in the mini-auction 2023 like Ben Stokes, Manish Pandey, or Mayank Agarwal, and make them in command.
Speaking on this, Indian commentator Akash Chopra said “Sunrise Hyderabad have changed their entire team. They have 12 retained players, in which 6 are fast bowlers. They have Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Fazalhaq Farooqui, Karthik Tyagi, Marco Jansen, Umran Malik, and T Natarajan. It means they don’t have to buy fast bowlers, they will bid on batsmen.”

In contrast to SRH captaincy, Akash stated that “Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Aiden Markram can be appointed as the captain of SRH”.
