Virat Kohli’s childhood coach drops a massive bombshell on Pakistan after their U turn

The Pakistan cricket team has been accused by Rajkumar Sharma who was Virat Kohli’s first coach of acting out a “dramatic performance” because they decided to play India in the T20 World Cup after they had announced their intention not to participate in the match.

Sharma explained to ANI that Pakistan officials treat their current position as a performance because they understood their need to face India.

Rajkumar Sharma explained how Pakistan performs their regular show which they always demonstrate through their current activities. Pakistan first backed Bangladesh but then abandoned them until they understood how important it was to face India. According to Rajmukar Sharma Pakistani people have developed a pattern of behaving in this specific way.

The Pakistan Government issued orders on Monday which required their national cricket team to compete against India on February 15 during their scheduled match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The decision came after Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, according to a statement by the Pakistan Government, briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the outcomes of high-level talks between the PCB, the International Cricket Council (ICC), and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

Pakistan had previously established their decision to boycott their group-stage World Cup match against India which they considered their main rival because they wanted to support Bangladesh. Bangladesh had to withdraw from the tournament after the ICC rejected their proposal to move match venues outside India because of security concerns.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Sri Lanka’s President Anura Kumara Dissanayake held a discussion about how Sri Lanka supported Pakistan during its “difficult period.” The Pakistani government ordered its cricket team to compete in the T20 World Cup match against India after Pakistan conducted discussions with the ICC and other nations.

“The Prime Minister conducted a telephone call this evening with H.E. Anura Kumara Dissanayake. The President of Sri Lanka, during their warm and friendly conversation, recalled that Pakistan and Sri Lanka had always stood shoulder to shoulder, especially during challenging times. The Sri Lankan President requested the Prime Minister to accord serious consideration to resolving the current impasse amicably. The Government of Pakistan directs the Pakistan National Cricket Team to play their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match on February 15, 2026, because friendly nations requested this and multilateral discussions produced their current results,” an official statement from Goverment of Pakistan stated.

The statement said “Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday formally briefed by the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, regarding the outcomes of high-level deliberations held between the PCB representatives of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).”

BCB president Aminul Islam Bulbul requested Pakistan to participate in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match against India on February 15 after ICC met with PCB and BCB at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium to address Pakistan’s boycott of the T20 World Cup 2026 match.

The ICC denied Bangladesh’s request to play their entire matches outside India which resulted in Scotland taking their place at the 2026 T20 World Cup after Bangladesh made their request. The authorities removed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Mustafizur Rahman from the team following Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) orders because of their worries about human rights abuses which affected minority communities in Bangladesh.
