Zimbabwe Cricket has revealed its 15-member team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 to take place next month in India and Sri Lanka. The senior all-rounder Sikandar Raza will be the captain of the Zimbabwe team again and he will be joined by experienced players like Ryan Burl, Wellington Masakadza, and others.
The Zimbabwean T20 team will return to the World’s T20 Cup after four years of absence and at the same time, they are also the ones who do not get to take part in the 2024 tournament in the Caribbean and USA due to their qualification not being achieved a couple of years ago.

Zimbabwe Cricket has officially declared a 15-man cricketing team of Zimbabwe for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka. The great all-rounder Sikandar Raza will be the commander of the national team, and the fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani will also come back to the team after being injured. Muzarabani the player missed the T20I tri-series in Pakistan a few months ago.
Muzarabani will be anticipated to spearhead the Zimbabwe pace attack along with the others, who include Richard Ngarava, Bradley Evans, and Tinotenda Maposa.
Zimbabwe’s batsman and captain, besides Sikandar Raza himself, will not only include veteran Graeme Cremer but also a tricky left-arm spinner Wellington Masakadza in its spin department.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has put the Zimbabwe cricket team in Group B with the countries of Ireland, Oman, the serial World Cup winners Australia and the Sri Lankan hosts of the tournament. The competition’s first game for Zimbabwe will take place on February 9 in Colombo, where they will face Oman.
