Zee And Disney Signs The Bravest ICC Media Rights Deal In Sports Broadcast History

The T20 world cup is on the way and before it Disney has come with Zee according to which Zee will host all the television broadcasting of ICC events.

According to a report, Zee and Disney have entered into a sublicensing agreement according to which Disney will only keep the online streaming rights.

Such agreement has never happened before in Indian Sports broadcast history and it is being said one of the bravest decision regarding cricket and its major events.

Both the media house, Zee and Disney are have got the approval by ICC and an official related to this matter has said,”It is subject to our approval.”

Not to forget that Disney star had last week retained the rights of telecast all the ICC events till 2027 with a whopping price of $3 billion.
