Yashasvi Jaiswal achieves this massive record in IPL

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the opener for Rajasthan Royals, became the fourth fastest Indian to reach 3000 runs in T20 cricket. The 23-year-old has had a great run in this format, hitting the 3000-run mark in just 102 innings. Tilak Varma holds the record for being the quickest Indian to do it in 90 innings, followed by Ruturaj Gaikwad (91), KL Rahul (93), and then Jaiswal.

He hit this milestone during a match against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Baraspara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Jaiswal started strong but had to slow down when the spinners came in, which made it tough for the RR batters. He ended up scoring 29 runs off 24 balls, enough to add his name to the 3000-run club.

Rajasthan Royals had a tough day overall with the bat. Keeper-batter Dhruv Jurel was the standout performer with 33 runs. KKR’s spinners, Varun Chakravarthy and Moeen Ali, both had fantastic games, picking up two wickets each while giving away only 17 and 23 runs, which put the RR batters under pressure as they managed to set a target of 151 runs in the first innings.

In response, Quinton de Kock shone brightly with an unbeaten 97 off 61 balls, leading KKR to an eight-wicket win. Rajasthan tried different spinners to contain de Kock, but he remained unfazed, earning the Player of the Match award. With this win, KKR climbed to sixth place on the points table, while Rajasthan slipped to tenth.
