Team India has started the third cycle of the World Test Championship(2023-2025) with a series win against the West Indies. The team won the first game against West Indies in Dominica and lost the second in Port of Spain.
In this third cycle, India will play a total of 19 matches and six different series. After the series against West Indies, team India will now face South Africa after the ODI World Cup where the first match will be played from December 24. This is a two-match series against the proteas.
After this, the England Cricket Team led by Ben Stokes will travel to India for a five match Test series. England is the only team which will play 21 matches in this 2023-25 WTC cycle. Now, the schedule and venues of all these five matches have been released in which the first match will be played from 25th January to January 29 in Hyderabad.
After this, both India and England will clash against each other in Vizag from 2nd to 6th february. Rajkot(16th to 20th Feb) will host the third match of the series while the home ground of former Indian captain Ranchi(23rd to September 27) has also got a match. The last match of the series will be played from 7th of March to 11th at Dharamsala.
India have always performed their best in this World Test Championship. They were one of the finalists for both the cycle but unfortunately they lost both the deciders, one against New Zealand and the second against Australia.
