“Won’t be surprised if….”Anil Kumble Drops A Big Bombshell On Ms Dhoni’s IPL Career

One of the best players to play sports, Ms. Dhoni, is also set to captain the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming IPL season.

Several speculations have been made about Mahi’s retirement after the completion of this year’s IPL. However, one of the biggest match winners for Team India Anil Kumble drops a big bombshell about the former Indian skipper’s IPL career.

In his recent interaction with Jio Cima Anil Kumble said he remembered one incident when Ms. Dhoni turned up for an optional practice session in Ranchi. Kumble even pointed out similarities between Sachin Tendulkar and Ms. Dhoni, saying that both people love to spend time on the field.

Kumble said, “I never played with MS in the IPL..

When I played with him on the Indian team, he was the first one to lift me up. I guess he was the strongest of the lot to lift a heavyweight. It was a fantastic moment for me.”

“I remember, when I was coach and he was the captain, we were in Ranchi for a one-day game, for an optional practice session, and he didn’t need to come as Ranchi is his hometown. But he was there for the session. I said, ‘What are you doing? We still have a couple of days before the next game.’ He said, ‘No, I just want to be around.’ That’s him.”

Kumble also spoke about his fellow teammate, Sachin Tendulkar.

Kumble said, “Sachin was the same. When I was with the Mumbai Indians, Sachin had played around 25 or 26 years of cricket. But on optional days, he’d be the first one to be on the bus.”
“These two guys, I don’t think they can take a break.”

“I won’t be surprised if MS continues to play for CSK, because that’s his optional session. He’s so passionate; he wants to be there.”

Ms. Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings will begin their campaign against royal challengers Bangalore on March 22.
