“With Team India…”: Sanju Samson’s Post On Indian Team Went Viral

Sanju Samson, the talented wicket-keeper batter, has recently found himself at the center of discussions among cricket fans and experts alike. His exclusion from India’s Cricket World Cup 2023 squad has raised eyebrows and sparked conversations across the cricketing world.

Sanju Samson was selected as a backup wicket-keeper batter for India’s Asia Cup 2023 squad. It was a significant moment for him, as it marked his presence in a major international tournament.

Despite his inclusion, Samson did not get the opportunity to showcase his skills on the field during the Asia Cup. He remained on the bench throughout the tournament, waiting for his chance.

As the Asia Cup reached its final against Sri Lanka, Samson had to return without playing a single match. It was undoubtedly a disappointing turn of events for the young cricketer.

The cricketer posted the picture on his social media accounts along with a heartwarming message for his teammates – “With Team India @ Gods own country !!”.

India’s superstar cricketers embarked on a long and challenging journey, covering a distance of 3,400 kilometers (2,170 miles) to play a World Cup warm-up match.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had different plans. The match against the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to torrential rain. This followed a similar fate for their scheduled game against defending champions England in Guwahati.

The World Cup warm-up matches have been marred by rain, with three abandoned and three rain-affected games, leaving both teams and players frustrated and uncertain about their preparations for the tournament.

The Netherlands, too, faced their share of weather-related challenges, with two washouts in their warm-up matches. A game against Australia ended in a no result due to rain.

Despite the initial setbacks, there is hope on the horizon. The weather forecast for the upcoming matches in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Dharamsala—the venues for the first three days of the tournament—is optimistic, with sunshine expected to replace the showers.
