Winning Mentality: Jason Holder’s Ambitions For T20 World Cup Success

The days are passing as all the teams gear up for the ultimate glory in the T20 World Cup, which is going to take place in the month of June.

However, one of the consistent teams in the shortest format of the game, West Indies veteran all-rounders, feels that “Men in Maroon have the same chance to clinch the trophy as anyone else.”

Holder feels that every side participating in the mega-showpiece event is fairly well-equipped to win it, whether it’s Australia or Nepal.

Holder said. “I think it’s really big for USA cricket as well to spread the sport.

The game is expanding towards a powerhouse globally. I think the event will be extremely helpful for our economy and for the people of the West Indies as well. It will bring tourists, and people will love the Caribbean, which is a really wonderful place to see. Hopefully, it will help our governments as well; it will boost our economy. And I think we have a really good chance of winning the World Cup, just like every other team.”.

Holder earlier opted out of the West Indies central contract to play franchise cricket all around the world, keeping the T-20 World Cup in mind. He was not part of the West Indies set-up that defeated
Australia at the Gabba.

Holder said that he feels proud to be a Caribbean but is very disappointed in not being there with the team.
