Indian team has made a clean sweep of New Zealand 3-0 in the three-match ODI series at home, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Now under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, Team India has to play a three-match T20 series against New Zealand in their own home, starting from 27th January.
The first T20 series match between Team India and New Zealand will be played in Ranchi. The Indian team has had showed exceptionally good performance in T20 matches in the last few years.
The Indian team has not lost even one of the last 11 bilateral T20 series. During this, 10 series have been won, while a series ended in a draw. Team India had to face defeat for the last time in July 2021. Since then Indian team lost the T20 series 1-2 on the Sri Lanka tour.
