WI vs IND, 4th T20I: Big Update On Rohit Sharma Fitness

Before the 4th T20I against the West Indies, the good news is coming out from the Indian dressing room. Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian Cricket team who got injured while batting against the West Indies in the 3rd T20I in Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts, will be seen in action from the next match.

After the first 3 matches of the ongoing 5-match T20I series vs West Indies, both teams have now moved to the USA where the 4th game of the series will be played on Sunday in Lauderhill, Florida.

A source close to BCCI has given the information about Rohit’s availability for the last 2 games of the series.

While talking to TOI, the source told, “Yes, Rohit has recovered from his back spasms and is fit now. He and coach Rahul Dravid will join the team in Miami after they had to go to Guyana with a few other players for interviews for the US Visa.”

In the 3rd T20I against the West Indies Rohit got injured while facing a delivery from Alzarri Joseph in the 2nd over of the game. However, Rohit managed to get a boundary of the ball but felt some pain, and eventually left the ground.

Currently, Team India is leading the series 2-1. India beat the hosts in the 1st match by 68 runs and then they lost the match. In the 3rd match, Suryakumar Yadav sensational fifty helped India to grab a 5-wicket win over West Indies.
