WI vs IND, 3rd T20I – Suryakumar Yadav Blasts, India Beat West Indies By 7 Wickets

In the match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first against the West Indies. West Indies got off to a good start and the openers managed to get 57 runs, and then Brandon King departed on the individual score of 20 runs. For the West Indies, Kayle Mayers scored the maximum runs. Facing 50 balls, mayers smashed 73 runs with the help of 8 fours and 4 sixes. Rovman Powell contributed 23 runs while captain Nicholas Pooran managed to get 22 runs only.

Bhuvaneshvar Kumar turned out to be the best bowler getting 2 wickets, Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh bagged 1-1 wicket each.

Chasing the target of 165 runs, India got a setback when captain Rohit Sharma (11) went to pavilion after being retired hurt.

After this Suryakumar Yadav (76) and Shreyas Iyer(24) took the responsibility and played some extraordinary shots against the West Indian bowling. Suryakumar Yadav got 8 fours and 4 sixes to his name.

Young wicketkeeper batsman, Rishabh Pant got 33 runs and took India home with Deepak Hooda who scored 10.

For the West Indies, Dominic Drakes, Jason Holder And Akeal Hosein got 1-1 wickets each.

Suryakumar Yadav was adjudged man of the match for his outstanding 76 runs.
