WI vs IND, 3rd T20I: Suryakumar Yadav And Tilak Varma Fire, India Beat West Indies By 7 Wickets

In the third T20I against West Indies, played at Providence Stadium, Guyana, India beat the hosts by seven wickets and kept their hopes alive in the five match T20I series after losing the two back to back games.

In this match, West Indies won the toss and opted to bat first against India. They put on a total of 159 runs at the loss of five wickets. For West Indies, Brandon King scored the maximum 42 runs while captain Rovman Powell supported it with 40 runs.

For India, Kuldeep Yadav got three wickets while Axar Patel and Mukesh Kumar got one wicket each.

Coming to the Indian chase, team India achieved the target in 17.5 overs on the back of Suryakumar’s Yadav 83 runs which he got in just 44 balls with the help of 10 fours and four sixes. On the other hand, Tilak Varma also contributed with 49 runs in 37 balls with the help of four fours and one six.

For West Indies, Alzarri Joseph got two wickets while Obed McCoy managed to get one.

For the superb 83 runs knock, Suryakumar Yadav has been given the man of the series award.
